GuideAhead Services LLC ("GuideAhead," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: Name, email address, company name, phone number
  • Billing information: Payment card details are processed and stored by Stripe; we never store raw card numbers
  • Project content: Content, images, and files you upload or share for use on your website
  • Support communications: Messages sent through support tickets

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, and device information
  • Session cookies and authentication tokens
  • Usage telemetry (page views, click-throughs, feature usage)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Services
  • To process payments and send billing notifications
  • To communicate with you about your projects and support requests
  • To prevent fraud and abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We use a small set of trusted third-party providers to operate the Services. Each is bound by its own privacy practices:

  • Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Vercel — website hosting and analytics
  • Resend — transactional email delivery

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with law enforcement or regulators when legally compelled to do so.

4. Cookies

We use cookies strictly for authentication and session management, plus minimal analytics (page views). You can disable cookies in your browser, but the client portal will not function without authentication cookies.

5. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: Your data is retained as long as your account is active.
  • Cancelled subscriptions with unpaid invoices: Website and hosting data is permanently deleted 45 days after a failed payment, as described in our Terms of Service.
  • Account deletion: If you request account deletion or your account is deleted by an admin, all personal data is removed within 30 days, except records required to be retained for legal, tax, or financial audit purposes.
  • Billing records: Invoice records and payment history may be retained for up to 7 years for tax compliance.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Receive a portable copy of your information

7. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Card data is handled exclusively by Stripe. Admin accounts may enable two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the revision.
